Now here's where it's at - Barack Obama hittin’ the boards on a Saturday night. Who wouldn't want to bowl the blues away after a long week attempting to strike peace deals in the middle east. Clearly he's throwing down a challenge to Netanyahu and Abbas.
Nice technique, watchful. I just know there's a T-Birds jacket lurking somewhere in the background. There's no pretence with this guy, he's right when he says "...knock down pins, not people!"

No More Smurfs - 'Gargamel Goes Vegan' Vintage T-Shirt
Looks like Smurfland has run out of Smurfs - that's a serious chink in the food chain. Lucky for Gargamel he's adaptive. The old man with curvature of the spine has found an alternative, or many alternatives provided they don't contain animal byproducts.
Who would've thought, Gargamel the foremost advocate of veganism. Gargamel... 'The Vegan'! Yeah it has a certain ring to it...

Howzat Vintage Cricket T-Shirt
By all reports, in the days of W.G. Grace, cricket was as a gentleman's game. They were competitive, but not 'unsporting'. There was likely to be a healthy respect for the opposition, and their talents, which manifested in handshakes at the close of play and comments of 'well done old boy'.
Nowadays, cricket is entertaining on more than one level. Sure there's the conventional sporting contest, but a new game has emerged in recent decades - a game that goes well beyond athletic ability (ahhm, the term 'athletic' used loosely as applied to cricketers - see below).
The new game is the exploitation of an opposition player's mental fragility - otherwise known as 'sledging'!
Warnie possessed an uncanny ability to be a master of both. But even a master gets tested, as Warne was by South African Daryll Cullinan, aka Warne's bunny:
As Cullinan was on his way to the wicket, Warne told him he had been waiting 2 years for another chance to humiliate him. "Looks like you spent it eating ," Cullinan retorted.
In a separate match, Ian Healy continued the food theme when Warne was attempting to get, plump Sri Lankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga out of his crease for a drive - Healy stated "Warnie, put a Mars Bar on a good length, that should do it."
What is the best sledge you've heard, either in professional sport, or at a local level?

Vintage T-Shirt: Ax Men Become Conservationists
Has deforestation taken a back seat on the social agenda in recent years, amid the wars, financial crises and anything else the media has a momentary fixation on?
I remember the good old days when it wasn't uncommon to flick on the evening news and see a couple of dishevelled protesters strapped to the base of a 40 ft Pine. I'd watch eagerly, hoping for some confrontation. In the eyes of their supporters, they were martyrs. To their critics, they were ferals.
I suppose the topic is as much at the forefront today as it ever has been, only now it's discussed in the broader context of climate change. Whilst logging per se hasn't been on my radar for a while now, I take comfort in the knowledge that the likes of Greenpeace and The Wilderness Society continue to fight for a tree's rights!
The Reformed Loggers Society is a support group for former ax men. Though they live with the sap on their hands of scores of tree fatalities, there is a hope.
